Hello everyone,
I had recently noticed a campaign on Twitter for Himalaya Natural Glow Rose Face Wash. The brand's message that 'Beauty has No Color and Every Woman is Beautiful' drew a lot of attention towards this product. Regardless of the hype and criticism surrounding their 'Ab Har Chehra Kare Glow' advertisement, the prospect of trying a new face wash with an enchanting rose fragrance piqued my interest.
So, about 2 weeks ago, I logged into my Amazon account and purchased Himalaya Rose Face Wash, along with a few other items. Now, here I am, sharing my thoughts on this product after using it for 11 days in a row. (I am still using it, by the way).

Rs. 79/- for 50 ml and Rs. 149/- for 100 ml. But you can buy a 100-ml tube on Amazon at a discounted price of Rs. 128/- (Click to buy). Other than Amazon, this product is also available at other online shopping sites like Nykaa, Flipkart, etc. and offline supermarkets.
My Review
We will start with the simple but attractive-looking packaging first. As you can see in the picture above, Himalaya Natural Glow Face Wash comes in a semi-transparent plastic squeeze tube (has a dark pinkish tinge to it) with a flip-open cap. This tube is sturdy and tight, so you can carry it with you while traveling without any fear of leakage.
Likewise, a good look at the tube will provide you with detailed information about this product. On the front, for example, 'Himalaya Natural Glow Face Wash' and 'Goodness of Rose reveals your Natural Glow 100 ml' are printed (along with a beautiful picture of a blooming dark pink rose). Himalaya's claims, usage instructions, ingredients, and manufacturing information are all printed on the back of the tube.
Once you open the flip-open cap and squeeze the tube, you get to see and smell the actual face wash. This rose cleanser has a thick, gel consistency and is surprisingly transparent in color. As the name suggests, this face wash smells just like a bouquet of roses. This fragrance is strong, floral, and pleasant, but not overpowering.

I generally use Himalaya Rose Face Wash by rubbing a small amount of it between my palms with a few drops of water. I then thoroughly massage and cleanse my face and neck area before washing it off with water. This product produces a reasonable amount of lather, but it is neither foamy (if you like a lot of lather, this is not the product for you) nor too little. I would say it is just adequate. It is also very gentle on the skin and does a great job of making the face look clean and smooth. Likewise, the rose fragrance lingers for about 10 minutes after cleansing and then fades off.
In terms of the brand's claims, I agree that it removes impurities and dullness from the facial skin and gives it a soft, clean, and refreshed look. It also did not cause any breakouts or dryness on my skin (since I already have combination-dry skin). However, I did not see any of the 'glow' that the brand claimed I would get. Furthermore, it did not remove my makeup in a single wash. To be honest, it felt like any other scented face wash we get in the market.

My Ratings
I'd rate it 4.2 out of 5. Considering everything, Himalaya Natural Glow Rose Face Wash does a decent job of cleansing the face, is rose-scented and budget-friendly, while avoiding any unwanted side effects like pimples and skin dryness. You can definitely give it a shot.
