Hey friends,
Recently, when my tube of Himalaya Rose Facewash was nearly finished, I thought of trying a new cleanser. That is when I started browsing Amazon India and stumbled onto Wow Skin Science Ubtan Face Wash. This product seemed quite interesting to me, considering its attractive packaging, the ingredients present in it, and the benefits it claimed to offer.
However, before starting this review, I must tell you'll that I have used an ubtan-based facewash before, i.e., Mamaearth Ubtan Facewash. It is one of the top-rated cleansers in the market and worked wonderfully on my skin. Though my intention is not to compare both these products, I still expect Wow Ubtan Face Wash to perform well because it comes from a reputed brand, 'Wow Skin Science', whose products contain no harmful chemicals, are nature-inspired, and are generally considered safe for the skin.

Packaging
Wow Skin Science Ubtan Cleansing Face Wash comes in a stylish plastic tube with a contrasting dark brown and yellow color scheme. Honestly, this gives it a very elegant look. This face wash tube is also sturdy, opaque, and comes with a flip-open cap.
Texture
Wow Ubtan Face Wash is light yellowish-colored, almost transparent, I must say. Despite having a gel-based formula, I found its consistency quite runny. I therefore make it a point to close the cap tightly after every use.
Fragrance
The fragrance of this facewash is similar to that of ubtan (a mix of turmeric, sandalwood, and a hint of rose water at the end). This smell is pleasant but neither strong nor lingers much. And honestly, I don't mind it at all.
My Experience
I am reviewing Wow Ubtan Face Wash after using it continuously for the past three weeks now. By the way, I use this product twice a day - during my bathing time and in my PM routine. I normally mix a few drops of water with a coin-sized amount of Wow Ubtan face wash and then rub it between my palms. After cleansing my face and neck area for nearly a minute, I then rinse everything off with water.
What I observed is that Wow Skin Science Ubtan Face Wash is a foaming face wash, as it lathers up very well. It does a pretty good job of cleansing my face from all the extra oil, impurities, dirt and grime, leaving my skin feel instantly clean, soft and fresh. What's even better is that this face wash is very gentle and it doesn't tighten, dry or irritate my skin. Thankfully, no breakouts either.

My Ratings
Overall, I liked using Wow Skin Science Ubtan Face Wash and would rate it 4.5 / 5. I believe, it would work good for people with normal to oily skin. However, if you have extremely dry skin then opting for a hydrating face cleanser would be a better option.
By the way, have you'll tried this face wash? If yes, then I would love to know your experience with it in the comment section below.
