Hey friends,
I recently finished with my tube of lip balm and was looking to try a new one. That is when I remembered my Smytten account, where I can get free trial samples against my 6 trial points (by paying a nominal amount). One of the products that caught my eye was Vagad's Khadi Herbal Chocolate and Almond Lip Balm. Since I had never tried that brand, I thought, why not give it a shot? So, here I am, with my honest review about the product, after trying it out for a week (I am still using it).

My Review
Let me begin with the simple yet attractive-looking outer packaging. As you can see in the picture above, Vagad's Khadi Herbal Chocolate and Almond Lip Balm comes in an opaque and sturdy plastic container. The cream and brown packing looks quite good, I must say. Since this container is just 10 gm and the lid of the container is tight, you can easily slip it in your purse, handbag or even your pencil case, without fear of it opening.
Since this container is small, some basic information regarding the product is printed on it. On the front, for example, 'Vagad's Khadi Herbal Lip Balm - Chocolate & Almond' is printed (with a picture of a piece of chocolate and two almonds). Ingredient information, the product's net weight, and manufacturing and contact details are printed on the back.
Once you open the lid of the container, you get to smell the chocolatey fragrance and see the yellowish-brown colored lip balm. I honestly love this yummy smell whenever I open the lid. Likewise, the texture of this lip balm is quite smooth and light and easily glides onto your lips. It is also non-sticky and non-greasy and quite efficient in moisturizing the lips and giving them a shiny appearance. This lip balm gives no color to your lips. So, you can apply it under your lipstick or just layer it on your lips to get rid of dryness. In short, you can use this lip balm anytime, anywhere.

My Ratings
I'd rate it 4 out of 5. Despite some of its cons, I have to confess that I really liked Khadi Herbal Chocolate and Almond Lip Balm. It has kept my lips soft and smooth without feeling heavy, and the light chocolate scent is a nice touch. I did find myself reapplying it a couple of times during the day, but I don’t mind it. If you’re looking for a lip balm that’s simple, basic, and natural, I think this one is a good choice (though getting your hands on it might not be easy).
